Corporate Gifts in Dubai: Branded Gifts Your Clients and Teams Actually Keep
Every December and every Ramadan, thousands of branded gifts change hands across Dubai's offices, and most of them end up in a drawer within a week. A cheap pen with a smudged logo, a generic box of dates with a sticker on top, a power bank that stops charging after a month. The company paid for the gift, the logo was on it, and the person who received it remembers nothing. A good corporate gift does the opposite: it gets used, it looks considered, and every time someone picks it up, they think of the company that gave it.
Marhaba Advertising supplies corporate gifts Dubai companies use for clients, employees, partners and events, branded and packed to order. As a signage company in Dubai with a design and print workshop in Al Quoz Industrial Area 4, we bring the same brand discipline to gifts that we bring to signage: the right logo files, the right colours, the right placement and a quality check before anything leaves us. This hub covers corporate gift sets, executive and employee gifts, welcome kits, seasonal gifting for Ramadan, Eid and National Day, and bulk orders. For personalised items with names and engraving, see our custom gifts page; for low-cost items in high quantities, see promotional giveaways; and for short runs of t-shirts, mugs and tote bags, see print on demand.
What We Supply
Four Ways We Help With Corporate Gifting in Dubai
Corporate gifting in Dubai is not one product; it is four different jobs. Knowing which one you need saves time, money and a lot of back-and-forth.
Corporate gift setsCorporate Gift Sets and Hampers
Curated sets combine several items in one presentation box: for example a notebook, pen and drinkware set, a tech set with a power bank and wireless charger, or a seasonal box with dates, coffee and a branded keepsake. Sets feel more generous than a single item and photograph well when recipients open them, which is why they are popular for client gifts and year-end thank-yous. We assemble, brand and pack corporate gift sets to your brief and budget.
Personalised giftsPersonalised and Custom Gifts
When each recipient's name, a special message or a precise engraving matters, the gift becomes personal. Executive pens, crystal awards, leather portfolios and premium drinkware engraved with a name are the classic examples. These are covered in depth on our custom gifts page, including which personalisation method suits which material.
Promotional giveawaysPromotional Giveaways in Bulk
For exhibitions, conferences, activations and mass campaigns, the goal is reach: hundreds or thousands of useful, low-cost branded items. Pens, lanyards, keychains, bags and caps belong here. Our promotional giveaways page explains how to choose items that people keep, and how giveaways tie into the events and activations Dubai work we deliver.
Short-run apparelShort-Run Apparel and Drinkware
Branded merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies, mugs and tote bags in small quantities for teams, launches, startups and one-off events. These sit on our print on demand page, which is set up for short runs rather than bulk corporate orders.
Recipients
Who Corporate Gifts Are For: Clients, Employees and Partners in Dubai
The recipient decides the gift more than the budget does. These are the main audiences we supply in Dubai, and what tends to work for each.
Client giftsClient Gifts
Client gifts in Dubai say thank you, mark a milestone or open a door. They should feel premium, useful and understated, with the logo present but not shouting. Executive gifts such as leather and stationery sets, along with quality drinkware, desk accessories, tech accessories and seasonal hampers, are the safe, well-received choices. A short handwritten-style card or a printed message from the managing director often makes a bigger impression than a larger logo.
Employee giftsEmployee Gifts and Recognition
Employee gifts reward performance, mark work anniversaries and celebrate team wins. They work best when they are things people would choose for themselves: good headphones, premium bottles, bags, hoodies or wellness items. Branding can be more visible here, because employees are proud to carry the company name. For long service and performance awards, engraved trophies and plaques add permanence.
Welcome kitsWelcome Kits and Onboarding Packs
A welcome kit on a new joiner's desk on day one sets the tone for the whole job. Typical kits include a notebook and pen, a branded bottle or tumbler, a lanyard and ID holder, a tote bag or backpack, and sometimes a hoodie or t-shirt. Building a standard kit and ordering in batches keeps every new employee's welcome consistent and saves HR from assembling kits by hand.
VIP and event giftsPartner, Event and VIP Gifts
Speakers, sponsors, government partners and VIP guests at events receive gifts that are presented on stage or at the door. These need to look exceptional in a photo and be easy to carry. Engraved crystal, premium boxed sets and locally inspired keepsakes are popular, and they are often coordinated with the event branding itself.
Timing
Dubai's Corporate Gifting Calendar: When to Order
Corporate gifting in Dubai clusters around a few predictable moments, and the businesses that order early get the best choice, the best pricing and stress-free delivery.
- Feb to Mar 2027 (expected)Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr
The biggest gifting season of the year for many companies in the UAE. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin on 8 February 2027, with Eid Al Fitr expected around 9 or 10 March 2027, according to UAE Astronomy Centre projections reported by The National in September 2026. Official dates depend on the moon sighting, so the National advises treating projections as a guide. Ramadan gifts typically include dates, Arabic coffee and sweets in branded boxes, prayer-time inspired items and elegant packaging.
- Later in the yearEid Al Adha
A second Eid gifting moment later in the year, usually with similar gift styles.
- 2 DecemberUAE National Day (Eid Al Etihad)
A popular time for gifts in UAE colours and designs that celebrate the country.
- DecemberYear-end and New Year
Client thank-you gifts, calendars, diaries and premium desk items.
- All yearCompany milestones
Anniversaries, office openings, product launches and annual conferences happen all year and often need gifts with only a few weeks' notice.
For branded gift sets and seasonal boxes, start planning six to eight weeks before the delivery date, and earlier for Ramadan, when demand for packaging, dates and premium items peaks across the city. Simple branded items can move faster, but the safest approach is to approve artwork early and leave room for a sample.
For Finance Teams
The AED 500 Gift Rule Every Dubai Finance Team Should Know
This is the detail most gift suppliers never mention, and it matters for any VAT-registered company planning gifts.
Under UAE VAT, when a business gives goods away for free, the gift can be treated as a "deemed supply", which means VAT may be due on it as if it had been sold. There is an exception for commercial gifts and samples: according to guidance from Tally Solutions and a legal explainer published on Zawya, citing Article 5 of the UAE VAT Executive Regulations, gifts and samples are not treated as deemed supplies where the value given to a single recipient does not exceed AED 500 over a 12-month period.
per recipient, over a 12-month period
What this means in practice:
Track gifts per recipient, not per order
Several smaller gifts to the same client across the year count together.
Plan high-value gifts deliberately
A premium executive gift above AED 500 to one client may trigger VAT consequences for the giver.
Keep records
A simple list of who received what, and its value, makes year-end VAT work easier.
Ask your tax adviser
Rules and interpretations change, and this is general information, not tax advice. Your accountant should confirm how the rule applies to your business.
How we help
We can help by quoting gift sets at clear per-recipient values and supplying itemised invoices, so your finance team has the numbers it needs.
Choosing Well
Choosing Corporate Gifts That Get Used in Dubai Offices
A business gift that sits in a drawer is wasted budget. These are the principles we use when helping clients choose corporate gifts in Dubai.
- 01
Useful beats novel
Items people use daily, such as bottles, notebooks, chargers and bags, keep your logo in view for months.
- 02
Quality beats quantity
One well-made item outperforms three cheap ones. A tumbler that keeps coffee hot through a Dubai summer commute earns more goodwill than a box of gadgets that break.
- 03
Climate-smart choices
In Dubai's heat, insulated drinkware, cooling towels for outdoor teams and sun-friendly accessories are genuinely useful. Items that melt, warp or fade in a hot car are not.
- 04
Respect local customs
Gifts should suit a multicultural, largely Muslim business environment: avoid alcohol-related items, choose imagery and messages with care, and consider dates, coffee and Arabic calligraphy for seasonal gifts.
- 05
Arabic and English
Personalising in Arabic as well as English shows thought, especially for government and local partners.
- 06
Logo placement with restraint
A discreet logo on a premium item is more likely to be used in public than a large logo on a cheap one.
- 07
Sustainable options
Reusable bottles, recycled-material notebooks, cotton or jute bags and plastic-free packaging are increasingly expected by corporate buyers with sustainability goals.
Branding
Branding Methods for Corporate Gifts in Dubai
The right branding method depends on the material, the logo and the look you want. These are the methods used across corporate gifts, with what each suits best.
| Method | What it suits best |
|---|---|
| Laser engraving | Permanent, elegant marks on metal, wood, leather, glass and some plastics. The classic choice for executive pens, awards and premium drinkware. |
| UV printing | Full-colour logos printed directly onto hard surfaces such as power banks, notebooks covers, acrylic and gift boxes. |
| Screen printing | Cost-effective for larger quantities with one or two colours, on bags, t-shirts and many promotional items. |
| Embroidery | A premium, textured finish for caps, polo shirts, jackets and bags. |
| Debossing and embossing | A raised or pressed logo on leather and notebook covers, often with foil for a luxury look. |
| Sublimation and heat transfer | Full-colour prints on mugs, polyester apparel and some textiles, ideal for photographs and complex artwork. |
| Pad printing | Small logos on curved items such as pens and stress balls. |
Our custom gifts page explains these methods in more detail, including personalising each item with individual names. For printed packaging, sleeves, cards and inserts, our graphics printing team produces matching print.
Presentation
Packaging, Presentation and Delivery Across Dubai
The box is the first thing a recipient sees, and in Dubai's gifting culture, presentation carries real weight.
- BoxBranded gift boxesRigid boxes, magnetic-closure boxes and sleeves printed or foil-stamped with your logo turn a set of items into a gift.
- InsideInserts and fillersCustom-cut inserts keep items in place and look intentional; crinkle paper and tissue in brand colours add finish.
- CardMessage cardsA printed card in Arabic and English with a personal message, signed or printed, completes the gift.
- LabelIndividual labellingFor large orders, each box can be labelled with the recipient's name and office for easy distribution.
- DeliverDeliveryBulk delivery to your office, or distribution to multiple addresses across Dubai and the UAE, arranged to suit your timeline.
Branded gift boxesGifts at Events
Corporate Gifts for Events and Campaigns in Dubai
Gifts often travel with events: speaker gifts on stage, welcome bags at registration, VIP gifts at a launch, and giveaways at exhibition stands and mall activations. Coordinating gifts with the event branding makes everything look like one campaign.
We regularly supply gifts alongside our event work, from stage backdrops to activation booths. For event planning, see our events and activations Dubai hub; for sampling, mall activations and roadshows where giveaways drive interaction, see our BTL activations page; and for stands at trade shows, our exhibition stand Dubai page. Gift displays on stands and counters can use our promotion counters and brochure stands.
Giveaways that form part of an advertised promotion in Dubai, such as a gift with purchase or a prize draw, generally need a DET promotion permit, as explained on our BTL activations page. Simple gifts to clients and employees do not.
What Goes Wrong
Corporate Gift Mistakes We See in Dubai
Ordering too late for Ramadan
Packaging, dates and popular items sell out across the city in the weeks before Ramadan. Late orders mean fewer choices and rushed branding.
Low-resolution logos
A logo copied from a website or email signature looks blurry when printed or engraved. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) give sharp results.
The wrong method for the material
Printing on surfaces that need engraving, or engraving surfaces that need printing, produces poor results. Matching method to material matters.
One gift for everyone
A senior client, a new intern and a government partner should not receive the same gift. Tiered gift lists by recipient group work better and often cost less overall.
Ignoring the AED 500 VAT rule
High-value gifts to the same recipient across the year can have VAT consequences; finance teams should know before ordering.
No sample
For large orders, a pre-production sample catches colour, placement and quality problems before they are repeated hundreds of times.
Forgetting delivery logistics
Gifts arriving after the event, or all sent to one reception desk for a company with five offices, waste the effort. Plan distribution before production.
Pricing
How Corporate Gift Pricing Works in Dubai
Corporate gift pricing depends on a handful of factors, so it is quoted per project rather than from a fixed list.
- The itemProduct type, brand, material and quality.
- QuantityUnit prices usually fall as quantities rise, because set-up costs are shared across more pieces.
- Branding method and coloursEngraving, multi-colour printing and embroidery each price differently, and set-up costs vary by method.
- PersonalisationIndividual names or messages on each item add time and cost compared with one logo on every item.
- PackagingA simple pouch, a printed sleeve and a rigid magnetic box are very different price points.
- DeliverySingle-address bulk delivery versus distribution to many addresses.
- TimingRush orders in peak seasons can limit choices and add cost.
The most useful starting point is a budget per recipient and a recipient count. Send those, the occasion and your delivery date to +971 52 953 6720 on WhatsApp, or use our contact us page, and we will propose gift options at a few price levels with clear per-recipient costs.
