Van Branding Dubai: Commercial Van Wraps, Liveries and Fleet Graphics
Every day, thousands of delivery vans, service vehicles, and corporate fleets move through Dubai's road network as invisible assets. Unbranded, they cover the same ground, log the same kilometres, and generate nothing beyond the job they are sent to do. A branded van does the same job and produces an estimated 30,000 to 70,000 additional visual impressions per day across Dubai's urban routes, at no recurring cost after the wrap is applied (SignArt Graphix 2025, Printzone Dubai 2026).
Van branding in Dubai is a commercial-only service. All branding applied to company vans must be on vehicles registered under a trade licence and must carry a valid RTA Advertisement Permit before the vehicle is driven on a public road. The permit process has specific rules: at least 50% of all text content must be in Arabic, the business name must match the trade licence exactly, and no real photographs of people are permitted in the artwork (Printajo 2026, Colorfab 2026). Full van liveries for Toyota HiAce and similar mid-size commercial vans start from AED 3,000, with Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter wraps running from AED 5,000 (Printajo 2026, Bayan Branding 2026). Marhaba Advertising has branded delivery vans, service vehicles, and corporate fleet cars from our Al Quoz Industrial Area 4 workshop since 2019, handling design, production, RTA permit coordination, and installation as a single in-house service.
Who Uses Van Branding
Van Branding Dubai for Delivery, Trades and Corporate Fleets: Who Uses It and Why
Van branding works for any business whose vehicles move through Dubai on a daily basis. Every kilometre a vehicle travels is advertising space that either works for the business or sits empty.
Delivery and Logistics Companies Dubai
Courier operators, e-commerce fulfilment services, and last-mile delivery companies operate fleets that may visit hundreds of addresses per day. Each stop is a brand touchpoint. A Toyota HiAce with a professionally produced full livery turns a routine delivery into a piece of street-level advertising in the neighbourhood it serves. For delivery companies operating in residential areas such as Jumeirah, Al Barsha, and Mirdif, the repeat visibility on the same routes builds brand recognition faster than most digital formats can match. Businesses scaling delivery operations can explore our fleet branding service for coordinated rollout across multiple vans.
Trades and Maintenance Businesses Dubai
Plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, pest control, and facility management companies all rely on vans as their primary operational vehicle. In Dubai's property management sector, where landlords and facility managers choose contractors partly based on professional appearance, a well-branded service van signals credibility before anyone speaks to the driver. The van arrives first. What it looks like forms the first impression of the business. A branded Renault Trafic or Ford Transit showing the company name, services, and contact number in clean Arabic and English is a working sales tool, not just a transport vehicle.
F&B and Hospitality Fleets Dubai
Catering companies, cloud kitchens, and F&B suppliers use vans that move between production facilities, hotel kitchens, and event venues across Dubai every day. Branded vans in this sector carry a specific value: the vehicle is often parked or unloaded in high-footfall areas such as hotel drop-off zones, mall service bays, and event venues, where dwell time extends the impression count significantly. F&B operators running dedicated food trucks alongside delivery vans can see our food truck branding service.
Corporate and Service Companies Dubai
Corporate firms, real estate agencies, healthcare providers, cleaning companies, and retail chains use vans for staff transport, client-facing service delivery, and inter-office logistics. A fleet of five uniformly branded vans moving through Business Bay, DIFC, and Downtown Dubai generates brand presence in premium commercial districts at a fraction of the cost of outdoor advertising in those same areas. For businesses that run both cars and vans, our vehicle branding service in Dubai covers the full range of commercial vehicle types.
Coverage Options
Van Wrap Types Dubai: Full Livery, Partial Branding and Cut Vinyl Options
The three main coverage categories each suit different budgets, fleet sizes, and brand objectives. None of them is a compromise if the right choice is matched to the right use case.
Full Van Livery Dubai
A full van livery covers every external panel: both sides, the rear, the bonnet, the roof, and the bumpers. It is the most visible and most durable application. Full liveries are the standard for delivery fleets, catering companies, and any business where the van is the primary brand vehicle. The design is printed on cast vinyl using eco-solvent or latex inks, laminated with a UV overlaminate, and applied to the full vehicle surface. A full Toyota HiAce livery covers approximately 18 to 25 square metres of vinyl. A Ford Transit high-roof LWB variant covers 30 to 40 square metres (Premium Prints 2026).
Partial Van Branding Dubai
Partial van branding covers a defined area rather than the full surface. The most common configurations are both side panels only, the rear panel only, or a combination of side panels and rear, leaving the bonnet and roof in factory colour. Side-and-rear graphics give commercial vans strong road visibility from the most commonly viewed angles at traffic lights and junctions. Door-only branding covers all four doors with the company name, contact number, and logo. Door graphics on a standard Renault Trafic or similar mid-size van start from AED 800 (Bayan Branding 2026).
Cut Vinyl Van Decals Dubai
Cut vinyl decals are produced by cutting letters, logos, and shapes from a single-colour vinyl sheet rather than printing a full graphic. They are applied directly to the painted surface and are the most durable format for simple text and logo applications. A company name and phone number in cut vinyl on both side panels costs less than a printed graphic and lasts as long as the vehicle itself under normal commercial use. Cut vinyl works best for businesses that need simple, consistent identification across a large fleet. For wider printed material, our graphics printing service covers large-format print from the same Al Quoz base.
Vehicles We Work On
Van Models We Brand in Dubai: HiAce, Transit, Sprinter and Trafic
We carry vehicle-specific templates for all common UAE commercial van models, so the artwork is produced correctly before the first panel is applied.
Toyota HiAce Van Branding Dubai
The Toyota HiAce is the most widely used commercial van in the UAE. Its flat-sided body panels and moderate surface area make it one of the more straightforward vehicles to brand consistently across a fleet. HiAce branding is particularly popular with delivery operators, staff transport companies, and catering businesses. A full livery on a standard HiAce Cargo covers approximately 18 to 22 square metres of cast vinyl (Premium Prints 2026).
Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter Branding Dubai
The Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter are the primary mid-to-large commercial vans for corporate fleets and logistics operators in Dubai. Both vehicles have significantly more surface area than the HiAce, with high-roof long-wheelbase variants covering 30 to 40 square metres for a full livery (Premium Prints 2026). The Transit and Sprinter also have more complex body geometry around the rear wheel arch, cargo door edges, and the step recess that require careful vinyl application to prevent lifting in Dubai's heat.
Renault Trafic, Master and Other Commercial Vans
The Renault Trafic, Renault Master, Nissan Urvan, and Hyundai Staria are all common in Dubai commercial fleets, particularly in facilities management, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. We brand all common UAE commercial van models. If your fleet uses a model not listed here, send us photos and the vehicle registration details and we will prepare a quote based on the actual surface area and panel configuration. For businesses running larger trucks alongside vans, our truck wrap Dubai service covers heavier commercial vehicles.
Materials and Quality
Van Branding Vinyl Dubai: Cast Film and UV Laminate for UAE Fleet Use
Commercial vans in Dubai face a specific durability challenge that passenger cars do not. A company van is typically parked outdoors, often in direct sun, for the full working day. The roof panel of a van parked south-facing in an Al Quoz industrial yard in July can reach surface temperatures above 70 degrees Celsius. Vinyl applied without UV laminate in this environment bleaches, contracts, and lifts at the edges within one Dubai summer (Printajo 2026).
3M and Avery Dennison Van Wrap Vinyl Dubai
Premium cast vinyl from 3M (Series 1080) and Avery Dennison (SW900 Supreme Wrapping Film) is formulated with no memory force: it conforms to curves and recesses without the internal stress that calendered vinyl carries from its production process. Under Dubai heat cycling, that difference determines whether the wrap survives three to five years or fails before the first annual RTA permit renewal. We apply a UV overlaminate over all printed van liveries. This layer adds UV protection to the ink surface, extends colour saturation life, and provides scratch resistance against the abrasion that commercial vans face in loading bays, car parks, and on-site environments.
UV Overlaminate for Van Graphics Dubai
The UV overlaminate is not optional on commercial van graphics in the UAE. Printed ink layers without laminate protection degrade under UV exposure at a rate that makes a three-year branded vehicle unreadable within two years. The laminate sits over the print layer, absorbs the UV load, and maintains colour fidelity in a climate where the UV index regularly exceeds 11 during the six-month peak period from April through September (Pitstop Arabia 2026).
On perforated vinyl applications on rear windows, a 50/50 perforated construction is used: 50% open to maintain the driver's rear visibility as required under RTA rules, and 50% printable surface for branding graphics. Solid vinyl graphics on windshields, front side windows, and lights are not permitted under RTA regulations (Printajo 2026).

RTA Compliance
RTA Advertisement Permit for Van Branding in Dubai: Rules Your Design Must Follow
Every commercial van displaying company branding on a Dubai public road must carry a valid RTA Advertisement Permit. Operating without a permit can result in fines, mandatory removal of the branding at the owner's cost, and the vehicle's registration being blocked until the issue is resolved (Printajo 2026, Pitstop Arabia 2026).
50% Arabic Content Rule
At least 50% of all text on the vehicle must be in Arabic with the same visual weight as the English. The company name in Arabic must match the trade licence exactly, including spelling and diacritics. Google Translate is not acceptable. We produce all Arabic content in-house to the correct standard for RTA submission (Printajo 2026, Colorfab 2026).
Trade Name Must Match Licence Exactly
The business name displayed on the vehicle must match the trade licence exactly, in both Arabic and English. Any discrepancy between the van branding and the registered trade name is grounds for rejection (Colorfab 2026).
Image and Placement Restrictions
No real photographs of people are permitted. A maximum of five images per vehicle side applies, including social media icons. Vinyl graphics must not cover the windshield, front side windows, lights, number plates, or mirrors. Rear window graphics must use 50/50 perforated vinyl (Printajo 2026).
Documents Required for RTA Permit
The standard application requires the vehicle's current Mulkiya, a copy of the company trade licence, the completed artwork at specified dimensions for each vehicle side, and for real estate promotion, an NOC from the Dubai Land Department. The permit has a one-year validity linked to the vehicle registration renewal date. For a complete guide, see our RTA vehicle branding approval guide.
How We Work
Van Branding Process Dubai: From Brief to RTA-Approved Branded Fleet
Every van branding project at our Al Quoz workshop follows the same five steps, from the first brief through to permit certificate in the glove box.
Commercial Brief and Fleet Assessment
Every van branding project starts with a brief covering the business type, the intended use of the vehicles, the fleet size, and the brand guidelines if they exist. If the client has an existing trade licence and company logo, those go into the design process immediately. If brand guidelines do not exist, we produce a design proposal based on the business activity and RTA compliance requirements from the start, not as a correction at the end.
RTA-Compliant Artwork Production
Our in-house design team produces the artwork against the van's specific panel dimensions and the RTA's content requirements. Arabic content is prepared to the correct standard for permit submission. Every design is checked for the 50% Arabic rule, image count per side, prohibited content, and placement restrictions before it leaves our design team. A scaled proof is sent to the client for approval before we move to print.
RTA Permit Application
Once artwork is approved, we submit the RTA Advertisement Permit application on the client's behalf. The permit process requires the Mulkiya, trade licence, and finalised artwork. Standard permit processing takes three to ten working days. We track the application and communicate any amendment requests from the RTA to the client with the specific change required. No vinyl is cut or printed until permit confirmation is received.
Production and Van Preparation
With the permit confirmed, the artwork is printed on cast vinyl using eco-solvent or latex inks and laminated with UV overlaminate. The van goes through a decontamination wash, clay bar treatment on contaminated panels, and an isopropyl alcohol wipe-down before any vinyl is applied. Installation takes place inside our covered Al Quoz workshop, away from direct sun and dust, which is a requirement for consistent cast vinyl adhesion in Dubai's climate.
Inspection and Permit Certificate Handover
The branded van is inspected under strong lighting before leaving the workshop. You receive the completed vehicle, the original RTA Advertisement Permit certificate for the glove box, and care guidance for the vinyl applied. For fleet jobs, vehicles are returned in the sequence confirmed at briefing to minimise downtime across the operating fleet.

Common Questions
Van Branding Dubai: Common Questions Answered
Questions we regularly receive from businesses looking to brand their commercial vans in Dubai.
Door graphics and basic branding on all four van doors starts from AED 800 using cut vinyl (Bayan Branding 2026). Side-and-rear panel graphics on a mid-size van such as a Toyota HiAce cost AED 1,500 to AED 3,000. A full livery on a HiAce runs AED 3,000 to AED 5,500, and a full Ford Transit or Sprinter livery costs AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 depending on design complexity and coverage (Printajo 2026, Marhaba Advertising project data 2026). RTA Advertisement Permit fees are charged separately as a government cost and range from AED 500 to AED 2,000 per vehicle.
Yes. Any commercial vehicle registered under a company trade licence and displaying branding on a public road in Dubai requires a valid RTA Advertisement Permit. Branding applied without a permit risks fines, mandatory removal of the vinyl at the owner's cost, and the vehicle registration being blocked at renewal (Printajo 2026). We handle the full permit application as part of the van branding service.
At least 50% of all text on a branded commercial vehicle must be in Arabic. The Arabic content must carry the same visual weight as the English, not be reduced in size or positioned as an afterthought. The business name in Arabic must match the trade licence exactly (Colorfab 2026, Printajo 2026). We produce all Arabic content in-house to the correct standard for RTA submission. Machine translation is not used.
A single van is typically designed, permitted, produced, and installed within one to two working days once the artwork is approved and the RTA permit is confirmed (Premium Prints 2026). The permit application itself takes three to ten working days, so the full timeline from initial brief to branded vehicle on the road is approximately two to three weeks for a single van. Fleet jobs of five or more vans are batched to minimise downtime across the operating fleet.
We brand Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, Renault Trafic, Renault Master, Nissan Urvan, Hyundai Staria, and all other common commercial van models used in UAE fleets (Premium Prints 2026). Vehicle-specific design templates are held for the most common models. For models not listed, we prepare templates from photos and registration details before quoting.
Yes, but only using 50/50 perforated vinyl that allows 50% light transmission through the window. This is an RTA requirement to maintain the driver's rear visibility. Solid vinyl on the rear window is not permitted. Windshields, front side windows, lights, and mirrors must remain completely clear of any graphics (Printajo 2026).
A professionally installed van livery using premium cast vinyl from 3M or Avery Dennison with UV overlaminate lasts three to five years in Dubai's climate under normal commercial fleet use (Pitstop Arabia 2026). Vans parked indoors or in covered facilities overnight typically reach the upper end of that range. Budget calendered vinyl used by low-cost workshops fails within 12 to 18 months in UAE heat and UV conditions.
You need a design amendment permit from the RTA before the updated branding is applied to the vehicle. The amendment fee is AED 100. Driving with branding that does not match the approved permit on file with the RTA is a violation, even if the change is minor (Printajo 2026). We manage the amendment application alongside reproduced artwork for any rebrand or logo update.
We brand single vehicles and full fleets. There is no minimum order quantity. A single van is given the same attention to artwork, permit coordination, and installation as a fleet of twenty. Fleet pricing is available for orders of five or more vans on the same design brief, with scheduling arranged to batch production and reduce the number of days any one vehicle is off the road. See our fleet branding service for fleet-specific pricing and coordination.
Our production facility is at Warehouse 1, Al Quoz Industrial Area 4, Al Quoz, Dubai. All van branding installations are carried out indoors at this facility. We serve clients from across Dubai, Deira, Sharjah, and the wider UAE. For personal car colour changes or car branding, see our car wrap Dubai service.
